The latest news on Colorado’s precarious and dwindling wolf pack was unsurprising. As reported Sunday in The Gazette, yet another of the wolves relocated to Colorado from Oregon not long ago has died.

Barring a miracle, Wolves is heading down to the EFL Championship. In 28 contests, the club has won just one match. A true embarrassment of a season for a side that has managed to be competitive over the years. Entering Friday, Wolverhampton sits in 20th place, 17 points back of Nottingham Forest for 17th, the first spot above the bottom three.
